On a night, where rookie Guards SP Joey Cantillo pitched pretty at the start (sadly only received 2 runs of support — not enough)……fizzled out
and O's hitters started teeing off combined with Cleveland's lack of offensive, even with a small rally at the end…..wasn't enough.
The usually reliable bullpen pitcher Xzavion Curry didn't fare well on the mound, giving up runs with the bad defense behind him.
Hopefully, things will be different tomorrow in the series finale, with Guards SP Gavin Williams toes the rubber.
Please, someone tell me what happened. Did they get the 2B ump off the street?

This has been Cleveland's MO once they win what they need to that will let a game slide. Mind you they still have the best record in baseball and still have the best home record.
CC Sabathia is a humble superstar. He signed autographs after games. He would stand out there signing for quite awhile. I never saw Jim Thome or Omar Vizquel,Albert Belle,Kenny Lofton. I went to a game and afterwards to the parking area looking for autographs. It was Victor Martinez bobble-head night. I saw Victor trying to sneak away w/o signing. I took one of the bobble-heads and ( I took my family,we got 5 b/h's) threw it at his feet and yelled" sign it and bring it back" And he did. Tried that with my Reds hat with Barry Larkin,he looked at the hat on the ground and never broke stride. He just kept walking.
Big bounce back win for the O’s. And don’t look now but it looks like Jackson Holliday is starting to figure it out. His 2 straight multi hit game, 5 hits in his last 2. He could be the spark to help get this team where they need to be
